I Could Write Headlines Like That

Ed's actions speak volumes louder than words

But I don't wanna.

Doesn't the Sun have editors? "C02"?

Pumping CO(2) underground helps retrieve more oil. What exactly about that would an environmentalist get all tingly over? The amount of gas stored is tiny, and more fossil fuel is brought to the surface to be burned (usually) in a way that won't see the resulting gas captured and stored.

Hey, the headline has to meet reduced intensity targets. It works this way: they reduce the intensity of the headline by injecting stupidity into it.

We need a cartoonist like Stewart Cameron, who pilloried Aberhart's Social Credit theories. I always liked the one with a water wheel with buckets attached all around it; on their way up, the buckets are labelled "6" as in 6 pounds; on their way down they are labelled "9" and therefor are heavier.
