Speaking Of Jokes About Killing Politicians

This kind of looks like another one to me. What's the Tory message supposed to be? Dear fellow Albertans, your response to Dion's presentation of his Green Shift during stampede week was a little soft.

Oh, you're gonna get sooooo trolled.

Conserva-tards hate it when others don't find their murder fantasies amusing.

somehow bullet holes don't convey the same message as the knife wounds in his back.

All from his Liberal "colleagues".

That's quite the smirk on Iggy's face

Bullet holes are unquestionably in bad taste. They should say that those are flowers, very ugly flowers.

The conservatives forgot the first rule of politics: when your opponent is digging a hole for himself, let him do it.

I've seen this Conserva-retort at least three times today.

Stephen Taylor must have e-mailed the minions.

Jermo, you speechy thug. I thought you were unwavering in your blind support of the reform...conservative party.

Go back to being a party hack, it's easier for my belief system.

"What does it mean?"

Excatly what I was thinking. This has got to be the dumbest/least funny "poor taste" advert ever.

More seriously, it might have something to do with "shooting holes" in Dion's plan.

wouldn't bullet holes all be the same size?

This is my suggestion for a conservative ad:

If the Liberals win the next election, Stephane Dion will be prime minister.

(eerie music)

Stephane Dion.

Prime Minister.

We're not making this up. We're not allowed to make things up.

You must also believe JFK was killed by one man.

Anyhow, the point of the multiple bullet holes of different sizes is that there are a bunch of honest Albertans united shooting at him in unison. It is unlikely they would all have the same kind of gun, hence the various calibres creating different bullet holes. D-uh.

The real question is, why are the bullet holes obviously showing that the shooters were behind the red screen? WOuldn't they see Dion head on and shoot towards him? You can say, "yeah shooting him in the back", but they wouldn't see him because of the red screen, you know what I mean?

What I see is Liberals taking pot shots at their "ahem" leader.
Being French we all know Dion would surrender before the shooting got anywhere near serious.

bigcitylib said...

Maybe they were a bunch of drunks driving a pick up and shooting at the back-side of a stop sign. We did that alot when I lived in Alberta. You wouldn't believe how many little French guys we managed to plug by accident.

This coming from the CPC? Oh, c'mon...even the "Conservatives" would soil themselves laughing.

Well...soil themselves more...

You wouldn't believe how many little French guys we managed to plug by accident....

On va les avoir, les Anglais...

Looks more like the result of the the conservative law and order plan which involves letting everyone have a whatever gun for whatever purpose you choose. Just like their american idols.

Ti-Guy said...

They're just trying to scare us into loosening up gun control by acting like the raging lunatics the rest of us would want to be armed against.

Thank God we've planned the internment camps...

Ewps! Forget I said that.

"Looks more like the result of the the conservative law and order plan which involves letting everyone have a whatever gun for whatever purpose you choose."

Yeah, because conservatives support gangs shooting innocent people. I've noticed how the gun registry has resulted in a severe drop in violent crimes involving guns...oops, wait a second, we're back at all-time highs. And that's with a socialist mayor.

I'm a firm believe in "the truth lies somewhere in between", but when one goalpost is the quote above, I hate to see the other extremity. Liberals are baby killers, I guess.

Jay, you've officially won the retard of the year award. Take a bow.

Ti-Guy said...

Both this:

the conservative law and order plan which involves letting everyone have a whatever gun for whatever purpose you choose

And this:

Liberals are baby killers

...represent fairly mainstream conservative opinion, Doubting Thomas.

Whatever is found between those two statements is fairly marginal conservative "truth," I would think.

I don't see what all the fuss is about. If you read the article, it's more about holes being poked in Dion's green plan by his own MPs.

Hardly the type of stuff to get all worked up about; unless your deliberately trying to take it out of context.

Some people really gotta get a life. There is far better stuff on the conservative website to take a run at them for. Like this.

I think it's trying to say that those liberals have never shot a rifle before, as they all seem to be missing?

But all those assassinate Bush video games are in good taste, aren't they? Why the different treatment for Dion?
