He sends out a CNW news release demanding that Jennifer Lynch of the CHRC not desecrate the National Remembrance Day Ceremony by laying a wreath in Ottawa!
He is roundly ignored, both in the press and on the ground! The wreath gets placed! The world goes on!

Fat lot of good that did.
Maybe Ezra pocketed a few extra bucks in pay pal donations.
Precisely. The speechies are profoundly stupid and infinitely gullible. They don't demand much in the way of accountability, and I think the chances of Ezra announcing "OK, folks, I've got the $500 raised, you can stop 'donating' now" are slim at best.
I wonder if he comes out for res. 203. The CPoC seems to be able to get him to shut up when it all gets too close to home for them (like at election time).
We should have a contest:
"Guess Ezra's personality disorder."
The prize is irrelevant.
That press release was a defamatory mess. No wonder it didn't get run. I'm surprised CNW decided to even circulate it. It is not completely protected from libel torts.
I wonder if figures for these kinds of antics are included when Ezra calculates the legal costs that he shares with us on a regular basis.
Well "freedomsite" has already come out in favour of it, so I imagine he will as well.
I think it's fairly easy to get him to shut up - pay him. It's an indication of his lack of any REAL influence that the CPC is willing to pay him during an election campaign, but not to give him a full time job.
I wonder if the deal includes him wearing a French maid's uniform for Harper too.
Thanks, RB, hadn't picked up opn that.
I watched the coverage of the Remembrance day service yesterday on TV. Couldn't help but notice that the National Chaplain of the Dominion Command is Rabbi Reuven Bulka. Yes that very same Rabbi Bulka who happens to be the Chair of Ezra's much loved Canadian Jewish Congress. I wonder when Ezra will issue a press release condemning the good Rabbi?
Maybe he should have delivered the press release to the media on the back of a Sea Doo...
You know, apart from Ezra's Ezcretion and the bloggers who picked it up, I can't find any indication that Jennifer Lynch attended the ceremony or ever intended to.
He says, "But that didn't stop her from issuing a crass press release boasting of her intentions to use fallen soldiers as a political photo op."
So where is that press release? He didn't link to it. It's not on the CHRC website. It's not on the CNW website, where the only mention of her name this year is - you guessed it - in Ezra's own release.
Given that Ezra didn't choose to link to it himself, the most charitable explanation is that the press release wasn't crass or boasting at all.
The less charitable explanation is that he simply made it up.
No less a wingnut than Connie Fournier admits
I was just talking to someone who was at the Remembrance Day ceremony and she said that she didn't see the CHRC, and that they are not listed in the brochure that lists the wreath-layers."
The same link also includes scans of the program for the ceremony.
Perhaps we should offer Ezra the whole $500 if he can prove the press release actually exists.
Here you go...
CHRC Press Release re Wreath
...And Ms. Lynch was apparently seen on CBC by one of Mr. Currie's readers.
Thanks. So it seems Ezra didn't lie about it existing, he merely refused to link to it because it clearly indicates he was lying through his teeth about its contents.
Notice how the ever-helpful fucknob, Jay Currie, seems rather indifferent to such matters of substance.
"vanity wreath"? What a shame that Currie shows such contempt for Canada's Remembrance Day ceremonies; I guess he doesn't support the troops past or present.
