I don't. I'm so done with the NDP. I was catching up on Politics with Don Newman this morning and caught an interview from last Thursday between MP's Ted Mensies, Scott Brison and Thomas Mulcair about Parliamentary Budget Office Kevin Page's report from last week.
When confronted with the conclusion that the deficit is largely made-in-Canada at this point, Menzies advanced the proposition that Canadians have confidence in Harper's handling of the economy and offered the last election as proof.
Scott Brison rightly took issue with this insult to the intelligence of Canadians and pointed out the facts. Then Thomas Mulcair pompously asserted that he'll let the Liberals and the Conservatives continue "to fight the last battle" (a battle arisen from a report released that very day) while he and the NDP "move forward." Then he started wibbling on about raising corporate taxes.
Good Lord. Shove it up your arse, Mulcair, you sanctimonious twit. No one cares what you think "going forward" because you and your party are largely irrelevant.
Too bad for Linda Duncan that she is stuck in the NDP. Didn't she get Jack's talking points, exposing the NDP as hypocrites on the environment? What an embarassment to have to be their environmental critic. Does this mean she too has to help Layton and James kill the BC carbon tax?
I've written the NDP off too as long as they continue to be led by Layton.

Glad I missed the latest idiocy from Mulcair.
