I can see them across the road at the National Post. Looks like they've cut power to the building, cuz Jonathon Kay is stuffing his coat with yesterday's newspaper. Someone else is burning fallen leaves for warmth.
Lest anyone think I'm biased, I believe people should boycott all print news journalism for the foreseeable future and install advertisement blocking software for online news browsing.
Not one single person should be profiting from the mess the news media has made of mass culture.
I liked the poll I read in the Vancouver sun. Touted on the front page, with three articles. And in the editorial.
Unfortunately, they try their best to hide the questions the poll asked.
Mike DeSouza lets one slip however:
" The findings were in response to a question about whether Harper should remain in government "because of the severe economic situation the country faces and the fact that the Liberal and NDP have entered into an "unholy" deal with the Bloc separatists". Sixty per cent of the respondants across the country said they agreed with that statement.
CRF: In another story the Sun also let slip that one of the questions labelled the Coalition (wrongly) as being composed of the Liberals, NDP, and Bloc.
Liberal/NDP Coalition with the support of the Bloc on money bills was too "nuanced", I guess.
May their noses grow so long they cannot fit behind the wheels of their SUVs.
I read the story in the paper version. It's on page B1 of friday december fifth's edition of the Vancouver sun. But I think this story is identical: http://www.globaltv.com/globaltv/national/story.html?id=1032853
(DeSouza is generally one of the few reporters in the sun who exhibit some professionalism.)
And another banner day for CanWest. Historic low at closing time: 55 cents. You can buy four shares of CanWest for the price of one issue of The National Post

Canwest is doing better then Nortel, of which I sadly still own a few shares.

It wasn't too nuanced. It was blatantly biased...Towards..well, y'know...the truth.
Can you link to that story, crf?

Yeah, but you can line your bird cage for many more days with a copy of the NP than you can with a stock certificate.
RB,
Unless your bird rebels and refuses to crap on it.
Alot of dead fish refuse to get wrapped in the NP. Thats a fact.

Paul S. wants to examine the science on that. He's skeptical.
