That's Sooooo Much More Legit

As JJ points out, KLR Vu polling now has a brand spanking new website. I am now much more inclined to accept the results of their anti-Morgentaler push poll. The "Management" writes:

Working closely with our clients, we become part of the team partcipating in the process of how to determine the objectives of the firms, and bringing it all together with reports everyone can understand.

Definitely not Shakespeare, but only one typo. Oh wait!

With the release of our first public poll I felt the necessity to produce the companies website for the public. and media

More typos. Keep trying, folks. Credibility is but one session with a spell-checker away.

Update: Looks like KLRvu plagiarised material pretty much word-for-word from Survey-USA. Buckets has the latest.

The funny thing is that this little farce they are pulling will do squat. And what media really wants to get into the very tired abortion issue. Our Supreme Court settled that, and everyone else has moved on, including the media.

Oh dear. Once you have buckets investigating you, might as well resign now and save yourself the humiliation

Given such obvious evidence of a completely fraudulent poll, I'm curious why people like Suzanne still so vociferously defend it? How can something like that make their side look good? How can that lend credibility to their position?

I think its just the same overt wishful thinking and self-delusion of the supports. Or they are in on it and are desperately trying to perpetuate the fraud.

I think Suzanne is likely in with the former since, as much and as vehemently as I disagree with her, I think she is genuine and would not be part of the latter.

At least I hope...

Wikipedia has an entry on the plagiarized company, SurveyUSA, with a bit of discussion. So maybe it was randomly chosen to plagiarize because it does automated polling, or maybe there is some corporate or political connection, who knows?

Isn't it "bad english" more than "typo"?

Bit of both, DT.

I have it on pretty good authority that the lifting of content was not done with SurveyUSA's knowledge or consent.

Mike,

I think it's sort of like the joke about the little boy who wakes up and christmas morning to find a pile of horseshit in his living room. He excitedly grabs ahold of a shovel and starts digging. When asked why - he says "Because there must be a pony"

Anyways -- I think JJ and Buckets deserve some kind of award for this stuff! Well done! To The both of them!

I'm no fan of Dr.Morgentaler OR of abortion. I don't think the state has any business in reproductive choices -- but I do find abortion to be a poor way to handle a difficult situation. Anyways -- even with my bias, I appreciate thw wonderful sleuthing on this.

It's ironic that as someone who doesn't believe the state has any business in reproductive choices you don't admire the person who is almost single-handedly responsible for that being the law in Canada.

Notice that the single typo on SUSA's page (reglar) got fixed on the plagiarized one.
