Tips on Beating Down the Conservative Menace
That's too bad. But c'mon, there's got be some new blood in Hamilton that can beat the NDP.
You're joking, right? After what the LPC did to Sheila, she should run from it as far as she can.Actually, she should run for the NDP. That would be fun to watch.
That's what happened back in 2004. Sheila had a brief flirtation with the NDP after Layton openly expressed condolences for her after losing the nomination and courted her to run for the Dippers. Luckily, Sheila got over it.
But apparently she's uninterested.Treating someone like crap for several years, tends to turn them off.
Treating someone like crap for several years, tends to turn them off.Treating people like crap and then acting confused as to why they don't get their support is stock in trade for conservatives. Which just goes to show that there's very little difference between conservatives and liberals.
The Dippers seem to be having ragegasms in the last few days. Christ, it's a meaningless convention, y'all. Stick to your knitting. Can you imagine what it'd be like if they actually won a federal election? I'm sure a taste of power would bring out vicious sectarianism among them as well. Thank God there's no chance of that happening.
Stick to your knitting.I think you have just proved Robert's point. Thanks.
Actually, it wouldn't surprise me at all if Ms. Copps held some grudges. And I wouldn't mind seeing her back as an NDPer either. I suspect though the nomination process wouldn't be a snap.
I think you have just proved Robert's point. It's just a figure of speech (besides, knitting if freakin' hard). The Dipper bloggers are hissing up a storm about a Party they'd never support even under threat of death.I never give moment's thought to CPC or NDP internal deliberations. Until any of that makes it to Parliament, it's nothing but a waste of my cognitive resources.
It's just a figure of speechWe know it is. We also know it's the exact same one MacKay used to tell McDonough to mind her own business. Liberal-Tory, same...well, you know how that goes.
We also know it's the exact same one MacKay used to tell McDonough to mind her own business.I know.*cackle*Next time I'll use mêle-toi de tes oignons. I'm sure that'll rile up the Néo-Démocrates.
