"In their 1993 Red Book, Chretien and Martin (who co-authored the document) promised to reduce Canada's man-made greenhouse gas emissions to 20% below 1988 levels by 2005."

Anybody can promise anything.

So that is your retort prairie turd?

Because the libs did too little in the past years, you're implying that the Conservatives are takin' care of business by doing EVEN LESS???? Don't forget your fearless leader was a climate change denier only a few short months ago.

Good grief, buddy - take another haul off that crack pipe.

Tell me Alberta Report . . . What has changed in Canada and for that matter, the world in the last 2 years environmentally? Nothing. The only thing that has changed is . . . wait for it . . . the government. When the Liberals were in power the environment was a nothing subject. Healthcare was the number 1 concern. The left wing media and Liberals have made the environment out to be this "catastrophe waiting to happen" and now every liberal in Canada is running around crying "the sky is falling". If the greenhouse gases are so close to killing the planet, why did Dion not make it mandatory for polluters to reduce their emissions? Kyoto is a political football which Liberals are using to get back into power so they can fleece the Canadian taxpayers again by lining their pockets with our money. Plain and simple.

And by the way, is that always the Liberals' answer when someone has an opposing point of view? Name calling? You must be good friends with
