It is very, very seldom that I agree with the Western Standard, and I am almost always in favor of initiatives that help people take action against Global Climate Change. However, attempts by a government led by someone as totally square as Dalton McGuinty to "appeal to the youth" are inevitably doomed to failure.Witness the Ontario launch of the "Flick Off" campaign, and Environment Minister Laurel Broten's desperate attempt to maintain her dignity in front of its official logo. She could hardly have looked sillier if she'd appeared with a nose stud and three pounds of eye-liner a la Avril Lavigne.
Can we officially dub this one a Public Relations Disaster?
