Pro-Castration Tory Blogger Worked For Federal Conservatives!

From his interview with Craig Chandler, Peter "the peter whacker" Csillag:

At the call centre for the federal Conservatives during the 2006 election campaign, where I volunteered with you, you seemed like one of the most passionate and dedicated guys there. Would you be just as dedicated if you volunteered in the next election campaign? What is your evaluation of the Harper government after two years now?"

Hmm. Maybe that's where all the "Vote Harper or your balls are ours!" messages were coming from.

Sorry BCL but the forced sterilization crowd is almost exclusively the domain of the left.
Tommy Douglas anyone, and Margaret Sangster, and the Nazis, who as Jonah Goldberg demonstrated, were politically to the left.

Ascribing every single belief of every one of the thousands of people who have ever supported the conservatives, directly to Harper?

Well if that's all ya got, you gotta do what you gotta do.

Meanwhile, we need only look at Dion directly and shake our heads in disbelief that this week kneed, waffling, stumbling, fumbling, far left academic is actually leader of a federal party.

Aside from the general affiliation type polls, it'll be interesting to see how many people are actually motivated to get up off the couch and make an affirmative decision to vote to put this man at the head of the government.

I'm thinking not many self described "liberals" and absolutely no self described "conservatives".

But on the bright side, at least he'll be properly banished back to his theoretical world of academia where he properly belongs.

Can you actually read? This topic is highlighting a Conservative who's advocating forced sterilisation.

We all know Conservative nitwits just love to change the channel..."You're a bigot for discriminating against nazis!"..."You're a mysogynist Taliban-Hugger because you don't support the misogynist Karzai government"..."You hate trees because you won't let them fulfill their destiny to be part of auctioned off stands!"....etc. etc. blah, blah, drivel drivel.

But really, this issue should be a no-brainer, which means it's tailor-made for Conservatives.

who as Jonah Goldberg demonstrated, were politically to the left.

There won't be a hell bad enough for The Doughy Pantload to dwell in for eternity to atone for his sin of enabling the insanity of the Reich-wingers.

WASHINGTON – Just when liberals thought it was safe to start identifying themselves as such, an acclaimed, veteran psychiatrist is making the case that the ideology motivating them is actually a mental disorder.

"Based on strikingly irrational beliefs and emotions, modern liberals relentlessly undermine the most important principles on which our freedoms were founded," says Dr. Lyle Rossiter, author of the new book, "The Liberal Mind: The Psychological Causes of Political Madness." "Like spoiled, angry children, they rebel against the normal responsibilities of adulthood and demand that a parental government meet their needs from cradle to grave."

"A social scientist who understands human nature will not dismiss the vital roles of free choice, voluntary cooperation and moral integrity – as liberals do," he says. "A political leader who understands human nature will not ignore individual differences in talent, drive, personal appeal and work ethic, and then try to impose economic and social equality on the population – as liberals do. And a legislator who understands human nature will not create an environment of rules which over-regulates and over-taxes the nation's citizens, corrupts their character and reduces them to wards of the state – as liberals do."

Dr. Rossiter says the liberal agenda preys on weakness and feelings of inferiority in the population by:

creating and reinforcing perceptions of victimization;

satisfying infantile claims to entitlement, indulgence and compensation; augmenting primitive feelings of envy;

rejecting the sovereignty of the individual, subordinating him to the will of the government.

"The roots of liberalism – and its associated madness – can be clearly identified by understanding how children develop from infancy to adulthood and how distorted development produces the irrational beliefs of the liberal mind," he says. "When the modern liberal mind whines about imaginary victims, rages against imaginary villains and seeks above all else to run the lives of persons competent to run their own lives, the neurosis of the liberal mind becomes painfully obvious."

You'd think a psychiatrist would know the difference between "irrational" and "liberal."

The mental health profession in the US is really in a shambles. No wonder 15% of Americans have a severe personality disorder.

I think, BCL, that those messages came all the way from the top, but Csillag and Chandler were worthy vessels to receive the bile of their spiteful overlord.

In other news, I am sorry to report that Rossiter exists outside of anon's overwrought dreams. A forensic psychiatrist. Is that someone who listens to dead people?

I went looking for peer reviews of "Dr" Rossiter's book. Apparently, only wingnuts have attempted to read it, but from what I can tell, couldn't finish because it was dry.

Maybe 'nonny-tard can read it and give us a review?

*snick*..."read." What am I saying?

"What am I saying?"

Too bad the little guy with the little mind didn't show such introspection on a much more regular basis.

Tis sorely needed.

Just look at the body of work.

And the company he keeps.

Have pity gods and allow this poor soul to break free and have a real life.

Wow...I've just been dissed by the meanest girl in grade 8.

Oh, the shame...she is cuisante.

Seriously, I've mentioned this before, but it bears repeating...doesn't the petulance and peevishness of Conservative men strike anyone else as being embarrassingly effeminate?

No wonder the only real stoics among Conservatives are the women.

You can pretend all you want that Elsie Wayne is a woman, but the only people I know who dress like her are drag queens.

...And Deb Gray's always been little iffy, although I happen to like her.

Speaking of effeminate conservative ponces, here's some top-drawer Steyn evisceration. I'm glad some people are motivated enough to pay serious attention to him.

...so we don't have to.

A plan to fight global warming.

Reproductive freedom.

Pick one.

And keep your story straight for effs sake; if global warming is the serious and immediate threat to the planet that you are selling it as, then you *must* take measures toward that fact, measures much less palatable than forced sterilization.

I see no measures, which leads me to conclude that you are not serious about AGW, and if you aren't serious why should Canadians be?

The liars have to stop lying and the loonies have to be marginalised first and you have to help. Otherwise, you're part of the problem...every problem, in fact.

Ti-guy:

It is usually a freezing day in hell that I agree with much of what you say. but on this issue I could not agree with you more.

The mental health industry has been busily creating new "disorders" to be included in their "list of disorders"...at this juncture, I can't recall the name of the compendium...but suffice to say...if the "disorder" is on the list, it's billable, if not, it's not billable.

It's not about medicine...it's about billablew hours. Having spent a number of years as a consultant for a firm that billed me out at outrageous fee structures, I can identify with the concept. there came a point where I could not look my clients in the eye anymore, knowing that every six minutes on my tgime was costing them $37.50 (plus GST).

So I quit...and felt much better for that decision...

Wonderful. My self-esteem was in dire need of this rather robust vote of confidence.
