Ezra's Next Crusade?

From free speech to trans fats? From upholding the right to bash Muslims to upholding the right to mash taters? Man what a come down that's gotta be.

But wait, where's the inevitable Nazi angle? My God, it's right here!!

Ezra Levant: tough on food Nazis, soft on the regular kind.

Another predictable lozenge from the libertarian ideological Pez-Dispenser.

The only person who could ever do this kind of thing (critiquing collectivist action) with a sense of humour and humanity was PJ O'Rourke (O'Rourke has quite a big heart for the desperately poor and disenfranchised).

I don't see any of these spoiled, doughy little dweebs taking up that tradition, least of all Ezra "I just got a Hummer" Levant.

As a member of PETA, and a good eco-greenie who thinks that humans are a cruel blight on the natural world, I say feed the poor and disenfranchised to the whales. That'll be a good start, and then we can work on getting rid of the next group of undesirables.

Wouldn't work. You'd have to chop the poor up pretty fine to feed the baleen whats.

Can't we add humourlessness to legislation that addresses violations of civil liberties? Whenever one these types tries to be witty, I feel like I'm being sexually molested by their aggressive witlessness.

You do realize you're on the completely wrong side of this issue, right? Even the Globe and Mail came out with an editorial admitting that the HRC are completely out of control (as has the guy whose idea the HRC was in the first place).

Don't worry, you can play with your toys in the corner while the adults decide what to do.

You mean the HRC is hearing a complaint from trans-fats that claims they're being defamed and subject to hate speech?

That is awful. "Free the Hydrogenated Vegetable Oils!"
