Hudak's Lament: PCPO Leader Issues Statement Re Doug Holyday, Steve Ryan, And Wayne Wettlaufer

Actually, no, Tim Hudak has not issued a statement in regards to the PCPO's double fluff-up on the first day of their bye-election campaign.--ie Wayne Wettlaufer's comment on ignorant women who vote Liberal, and Doug Holyday's ill-time speculation about a possible run for MPP in  Etobicoke-Lakeshore.  The former insulted half the province in a single tweet, and the latter involves Holyday possibly ousting a fellow Conservative named Steve Ryan, who won the nomination out there fair-and-square back in December.  That's a sure way to party unity!

In fact, Hudak planned to issue a statement, but his handlers snatched it from him.  Luckly, I got hold of an early draft, which I have reproduced below:

My Fellow Ontarions,

I am so sick of all this bullshit.  The government of the day is tired, awash in scandal, demoralized.  And yet there  are five bye-elections coming up and I am poised to get bupkis outta them.

Well no, not quite bupkis.  I'm going to get a shitload o' blame for the result.  And yes, I am The Leader.  But there's only so much I can do leading a cartload of hapless boobs.  I got a weak bench, is what I'm saying.  I'm not suggesting they're morons.  I'm saying morons can beat these guys in checkers.

And you know what?  Wayne and Doug aren't even the worst.  That would be Randy Hillier, from out in Lanarck.  I go to hoedowns with him out there, to meet his people, and they cook and consume all sorts of wild meat and, frankly, its difficult for me to watch them eat.  Very disturbing.  And the worst part is I can see their scheming.  Randy watches me out of the corner of my eye, waiting for me to stumble, to eat with a fork or something hopelessly Liberal like that.

Well, I'll tell you what, Randy.  You want my job, you can have it.  You just have to ask up front.  In fact why don't you just kill me now?  Rip my fucking guts out and strangle my political career with them.   Because I can't hack it anymore!!!  I can no longer work under such conditions!!!

And then afterwards I'll be free, and I can go back to the private sector.  Maybe sit on a board.  Maybe help conserve some poor animal. I like bunnies, for example.  I'm not that guy you see on tv, that looks like Richard Nixon shagged a weasel.  I'm really quite sweet when you get to know me.

I have a resume if anyone wants to look at it.

Sincerely,
Tim Hudak

How Can You Torch A Burned Out Building?

This Tory blogger asks: why would Tim Hudak promise to enact the very same reforms Mike Harris already enacted 15(ish) years ago?  What would Mike Lite do that Mike Heavy didn't already accomplish during the last go round?  Throw autistic people out on the street?  Good question.

How Much Will It Cost Tim Hudak To Unwind The Green Energy Act?

You thought cancelling that gas plant was expensive?  Here's PCPO MPP Monte McNaughton, representing Lambton-Kent-Middlesex:

…we realize that when we make the commitment, we’re not going to build them, if they’re not built. So scrap the 50,000 projects that are in the queue.  We realize that there is going to be a cost, our lawyers have told us that there are opt-out clauses and we sure as hell are going to pay those out because it’s going to be cheaper to pay them out than to honour contracts for 20 years. So we’ve been clear that we will not going ahead with however many projects are left, if we’re fortunate enough to form the next government after the next election. But clearly there will be a cost associated with that, but it will be cheaper to buy them out than to honour them for 20 years.

Secondly, I guess we’re not going to know the entire extent of all of these contracts signed until if we form government, until we actually get in and take office. That’s why we’ve been clear that in the 24 hours after the election, we’re going to call for a moratorium. But we are going to call for a moratorium almost immediately so we can figure where the hell things are at and how deep a hole energy has gotten us into.

So, despite McNaughton's claim in the first paragraph, the Tories don't really know whether their option is the cheaper way or not, because they don't really know the size of the bill they'll have to pay.  But their lawyers must have given them some estimates.  So, a simple question to Mr. Hudak: how many $1,000,000s d'you think this promise will cost to keep?  And, incidentally, how many jobs in the green energy sector will it cost?

Hudak Threatens 2012 Election Story (Broke At BCLSB!!!) Goes MSM

Here.  As soon as they get back in, somebody in Liberal-land owes me a Senate appointment.  Or an ambassadorship.  Maybe to Australia, where it's warm and they drink Fosters.  But anywhere warm will do.  Though not too dry or too buggy.  I get rashes.

Hudak Talks 2012 Election With Far Right Extremist

From his letter to FreeD denizen Edward Kennedy:

I thank you for all of your previous support, but I also encourage you to continue working hard so we will be ready to go into an election next year if necessary to restore Ontario as the economic leader in Canada.

Yours truly,

Tim Hudak

Pretty unseemly, I think, to be talking about bringing down the McGuinty gov. less than two months after they've been elected.

And, though its only a form letter, the "thank you for all of your previous support" suggests that Mr. Hudak knows who Edward George Kennedy is and is still willing to accept his support.

Here is who Ed Kennedy is.

Tim Hudak Hires THEM To Do Campaign Dirty Work

Hiring call-centers in News Brunswick, when Ontario phone spammers are going hungry?  Whose side is the Hudak campaign on?  Why is he sending push polling and dark ops jobs out of province?  Does Tim Hudak hate Ontario?

PS.  Oh my!  Tim Hudak would never have got educated if he hadn't swiped  American scholarship money from a full-blooded Yankee.

Your Daily Hillier: Tea Party Torys Celebrate Randy Hillier, Trash Ernie Eves!

Dave Krayden from the Canadian Centre for Policy Studies opines:

Do you remember Ernie Eves? Yes, he was that Red Tory who helped destroy what Mike Harris had produced over two terms of true conservative government in Ontario. He inherited the Mike Harris file and promptly reduced it back again to Liberal Lite, thinking that conservatism could never win in Ontario despite the overwhelming evidence of the last decade that had allowed him to remain in government. You lost, Ernie and you lost because you refused to stand for conservative principles. Now you are at again.

Why are you trying to destroy the campaigns of Jack MacLaren and Randy Hillier in my backyard? You just cannot abide the fact that a democratically elected nomination rejected your favourite candidate and nominated a real conservative. Jack and Randy are probably two of the only true conservatives on the block this autumn. Don’t take that happiness away from me. Yes, I know you are upset that the democratic process prevailed in the nomination of Jack MacLaren. I know that the Progressive Conservative establishment wanted Norm Sterling to win because he was more in keeping with the Red Toryism and the status quo of this party. But guess what? The people have taken the party back. They are in control. For a change. Get used to it.

Which brings me to Tim Hudak. Mr. Hudak you are not gong to win this campaign by default. You will not find electoral success by pretending that you are just as liberal as the opponents. You will not win by refusing to stand as a principled conservative.

You know, I don't know what more Tim Hudak could do to prove his "Principled Conservatism" bonafides short of personally hurling a brick through the window of an East Indian restaurant

And maybe his newly inflamed rhetoric is having its intended effect.

McGuinty Gives Money To Same Group As Jason Kenney Did

Ezra Shits!  Inflammatory emails fly across cyberspace  (see bottom of YouTube clip)!

Now, there are differences between the two occasions.  For instance, the provincial money to Palestine House is coming at arms-length, via a Trillium Foundation Grant, whereas the federal money flowed directly from Mr. Kenney's ministry.  So if that grant proves the McGuinty government is down with Hamas, then so are the Harper Tories, perhaps even more thoroughly.

Of course the real question Ezra and others need to ask is: where is Tim Hudak in all this?  Doesn't he owe voters an statement re funding these alleged jew-haters?  Only he, it appears, can swoop down and save us all from the Islamist menace.

Thus far, Hudak has pointed rejected Ezra Levant's kooky notions.  Let's see if he keeps the streak alive (or, even more wisely, entirely ignores anything that Sun TV, with its audience of several, says.).

Rob Shows Tim How Its Done

I'm not quite sure what it is he's showing him, but Tim is clapping, so I guess Rob must doing it well.  Also, a nice line from the source story:

...the Star has learned of polling data showing Ford’s popularity steadily sinking from an almost 70 per cent approval rating after the Oct. 25 election to only 45 per cent in early August.

Though, apparently, he's still big in Etobicoke.

Also, Mr. Ford did not ask Mr. Hudak about the latter's threat to suspend the uploading of services to Ontario's municipalities.  A bit odd, that, as it will likely cost the city a good  $170 million.

Tim Hudak: The Hits Keep Coming

Hudak not good for rural Ontario
County council cringes at Hudak claim

I would say Tim Hudak's promise to through $500,000,000 worth of costs back onto the municipalities is the John Tory moment of campaign 2011.  Except there's still time for more flub-ups.

Change We Can All Believe In

I give you the PCPO's new campaign slogan: "Change Tim Hudak".
Works for me.

PS.  Its from the front of their new bus.
