The New Testament does not advocate killing of any sort - A Christian "fundamentalist" who listened to every verse of the Gospels would be an extreme pacifist.
The Quran permits open warfare against non-Muslims, the killing of non-Muslims in war, and the killing of homosexuals and Muslim apostates (those who disavow their faith).
I'd take the guy who prefers that same-sex couples can't get married over the guy who says they should be put to death.
"A Christian "fundamentalist" who listened to every verse of the Gospels would be an extreme pacifist."
The trouble is that fundamentalists like Falwell don't read the Gospels, they prefer the violent, murderous, genocidal parts of the Old Testament. I don't consider them Christians; more of a breakaway heretical sect.
