E-Voting Article In The Mark, And Twitter Sucking Harder

Same as what I wrote Saturday, but the new setting gives it credibility you can just feel.

And, reading this again, it occurs to me that the Toronto Local 416 twitter feed is being hijacked in exactly the same manner as the Blogging Tory twitter feed was previously. Which means twitter "security" is non-existant and twitter spam cannot be far behind.

O wait, its already here.

I'm waiting for neuroscience to be sophisticated enough so that the applied technology flowing from it will simply determine, from my brain activity, what choices I need or want to make and remove any need for me to pay attention at all, as I drive, shop and eat my way through life.

I swear, these evil technocrats are not innovating with the public interest in mind, but with the belief that greater innovation will be required to deal with the unintended consequences that they are already aware of and have planned for. Kind of like Microsoft sustaining an entire industry of computer security experts.

But Rob...you'll be the last to know...the last to know!!!

The only tweet I'll ever regret missing is the one that says: Nuclear explosion in_____. Luckily, I won't have that much time left to live with the disappointment.

Could you imagine the great writers and philosopers over time being brought into the future and being exposed to twitter..?
