Who Won The Ontario Leaders Debate?

How the hell should I know? I didn't watch the Ontario leaders debate. Instead I was at my favorite pub, chowing down on Toronto's best chicken wings and drinking beer. I thought of live blogging my chicken wings dinner (7:15: pint number three...cool, golden) but didn't want to steal traffic from those dedicated bloggers who had chosen, for the good of the province, to spend a whole evening watching three middle-aged white guys in suits recite talking points.

Since The Star says so, I'll just assume Dalton won.

Nope.

Seems pretty obvious to me that you and others who didn't watch, but instead enjoyed a nice dinner, won the debate.

I'm not particularly interested in how the leaders stack up as circus performers.

there was no debate - Tory stuck to attack crap - they didn't debate policy.

So, why bother.

McGuinty was in the middle being attacked from both sides viciously and pretty much stood his ground - so I suppose he won.

Does John Tory ever shut up? I mean the motor mouth has two speeds - fast and faster and doesn't say much.

Too true.

John Tory spoke fast?!? There were points that McGuinty looked like a bobble head and he was talking so fast, I thought he had hit the meth pipe!

Meth? This is Ontario, not Alberta.

Dulton spent the whole night blaming all his broken promises and all his failures of the past four years on Mike Harris and he even had the balls to lay some blame on bob rae & the ndp!!! It might be a good idea to get a source of news other than the star.

Yeah..Dalton really should have laid the blame where it belongs...on fat-headed moron-Ontarians like you, Frank.

Christ...a whole swath of douche-bags from Windsor to Peterborough. I hate Ontario.

Not much written on it, but seems like the attack "strategy" worked against NDP and PC. Not enough content for most people, not enough said about what Tory would actually do. I was surprised Dalton Didn't make an issue about the creationism in schools bit, but then he was under attack, mainly.

I so hope that McGuilty wins. That'll put the final nails in Ontario's coffin.

Taxes will skyrocket, gun murders will escalate, more jobs will be lost and people will move out. Your health care costs will rise through the roof as all you have left are the elderly and sick immigrants who come for the free health care. You finish off in a socialist spiral, and will keep whining about all the money Alberta doesn't deserve to keep. You deserve him.
