Federal Heritage Minister Bev Oda got into the decadent rock-star spirit during last year's Juno awards, parading around Halifax in a stretch Limo for four days to the tune of $5,475 in tax-payers' money, even though many of the events she attended during her stay were within walking distance of her hotel.
In fact, she sent back a min-van and several other vehicles before finally settling on the stretch.
Despite her Madonna-like tastes, there was no word on whether Ms. Oda spent time prancing about in her undies.
Like Madonna, Butt Ugly
You really are low, making such a comment about a woman's looks. Nice personal attack. What, doesn't she meet your sexist standards of beauty? Pat yourself on the back for that one.
Wah wah wah, anonymous! I sure don't see Bev Oda leaping to the defense of the women in this story:
"Miss N.W.T." email sparks call for bureaucrat's firing.
Whoever dug up this on Oda, good job! There will be lots more hidden pork in the Cons.
If she took another 1,000 limo rides - that would almost match the amount of money stolen from Canadians by the Liberal Party of Montreal! That's a scandal! Think of all the envelopes that could be stuffed with cash!
Ah, the whole envelope thing is just so tired it's pathetic. Time for the baby government to grow up and accept that they now take responsibility for their actions - can't blame little Johnnie forever for their mistakes, lies, policies, etc.
She's almost put herself right up there into the lofty heights of Joe Volpe limo territory.
Only a Lieberal would gloss over bribery and theft of millions of taxpayer dollars by simply calling it "just so tired". So then if the Conservatives pick up where the Lieberals left off and start stealing money, it'll be no big deal, right?
Party of Convictions, right?
So how many hundreds of free limo rides should we let her take before we get upset, anon 1:33.
Are you actually serious? THIS is the 'big scandal', your big 'gotcha' moment? Some limosine rides? Pathetic. So NO Liberal has been driven around in a limo . . .
If she can't explain $50 million in funding that can't be found, or gets convicted of a criminal offense, we'll talk. Until then, go talk to Bert & Ernie about 'proportionality'.
Hey, how does this compare with the new information about Daniel Hurley (Riding Association president) travelling with Dion during the election campaign on the taxpayers dime? Any facts?
